The ARIDian News & Views, the quarterly newsletter of Arkansas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, previously edited by Sharon Downs, was the 2003 winner of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc.’s Silver Scribe Award. The Silver Scribe Award recognizes the outstanding RID Affiliate Chapter newsletters based on content, format, originality and special features. This award was presented at the biennial conference of RID in Chicago.
